- No. LTO Finder runs entirely on your device. The barcode list you enter and the
camera feed never leave your iPhone — nothing is sent to a server, and no analytics
or tracking are used.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. LTO Finder is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no in-app purchases.
- How do I enter the list of tapes I'm looking for?
- Paste or type the barcodes into the text field on the main screen, separated by
commas, spaces, or line breaks — any combination works.
- The app can't access my camera. What do I do?
- Open the iOS Settings app, scroll to LTO Finder, and make sure Camera access is
turned on.
- Which languages are supported?
- English, German, and Spanish. LTO Finder automatically follows your device's
language setting.
- Can I find several tapes at once?
- Yes. Every matching barcode currently visible to the camera is highlighted at the
same time, with an optional vibration on each new match.
